Rudy Smallwood

Rudy Smallwood is an accomplished professional in the biopharmaceutical industry with extensive experience in manufacturing and technical operations. Currently serving as Director of MS&T Tech Operations at Novavax Inc. since February 2022, Rudy has previously held key positions including Director of Manufacturing at Catalent Pharma Solutions, Associate Director of R&D at MedImmune, and Senior Manager of Pilot Production at AstraZeneca. With a strong background in cell culture operations and clinical production management, Rudy has demonstrated leadership in overseeing diverse teams and coordinating complex manufacturing processes across multiple organizations, including Regeneron Pharmaceuticals and GlaxoSmithKline. Rudy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Charleston.
