Matthew Weinstock

Matthew Weinstock is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Novel Biotechnology Inc., where Matthew also serves as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board. Prior to this, Matthew held various positions at companies such as Absci and Synthetic Genomics, including roles as Chief of Staff, Group Leader, and Senior Scientist. With a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Utah School of Medicine, Matthew has a strong background in molecular biology and biochemistry. As an experienced instructor at UC San Diego Extension, Matthew has developed course curriculum and delivered lectures in these subjects. Matthew's research has focused on areas such as genome engineering, genome transplantation, and the development of therapeutics against emerging infectious diseases.
