Michelle Lu, PhD, is currently the Chief Science Officer at Novel Farms, Inc. Michelle has a background in synthetic biology, tissue engineering, and cell culture. Prior to their current role, Michelle held positions at UC Berkeley and the University of Oregon, where Michelle conducted research in molecular biology under various laboratory settings. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular Biology from the University of Oregon.
