Andrea Pais

Andrea Pais is the Founder and CEO of Novel Microdevices, a company established in 2015 that focuses on developing point-of-care diagnostic devices that are simple, accurate, rapid, and affordable. Prior to this role, Andrea worked as a Research Consultant at Diagnostic Biochips, specializing in the design, fabrication, and testing of silicon-based neural electrodes. Andrea also held positions as a Research Consultant and Research Engineer at SB Microsystems, where expertise was applied in the design, fabrication, and testing of various biomedical and microfluidic devices. Andrea holds two Master of Science degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and the University of Florida.
