Wa'el Tashkandi

Wa'el Tashkandi is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Novel Non-Metallic Solutions since November 2020. Prior to this role, Tashkandi held key positions at Baker Hughes as Sales and Commercial Regional Director for Oilfield Equipment and Sales Director for MENAT & India from July 2017 to November 2020. At GE Oil & Gas, Tashkandi was GeoMarket Director for Surface and General Manager for pressure control from August 2015 to July 2017. Tashkandi also served as Regional Manager for Saudi Arabia and Bahrain operations at Mi-SWACO from July 2013 to July 2015, and as Project Manager and Cementing Manager at Schlumberger from February 2009 to October 2013, managing significant cementing operations. Additionally, Tashkandi worked as Quality Compliance Manager and QTR Cementing Manager at Schlumberger from 2003 to 2007. Tashkandi holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Chemical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, earned in 1997.
