Rune Bæverrud

Rune Bæverrud is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the FPGA domain. Currently serving as a Senior FPGA System Engineer at NOVELDA since November 2022, Bæverrud previously held the position of Senior Hardware Engineer at Graphcore and Thales, providing expertise in RTL modeling for optimal performance. Previous roles include Field Applications Engineer for Xilinx and Altera FPGAs at Avnet Silica and Memec, where technical support and instructional responsibilities were key focuses. With a foundational background in development engineering from earlier positions at European Technology Partner AS and Bæverrud Elektronikk, and an academic degree in Computer Science and Electronics from Norges Tekniske Høgskole, Rune Bæverrud combines technical acumen with leadership in the electronics sector.
