Aziz Tashbulatov has a varied work experience in procurement and sourcing roles. Aziz started their career as a Procurement Manager at Glass Manufacturing Company "Qvartz" from January 2002 to March 2006. Aziz then worked as a Buyer at the City of Atlanta, Department of Aviation from May 2006 to April 2008, where they provided purchasing solutions and negotiated contracts for various business units. Following that, they joined the Georgia Department of Administrative Services in April 2008 as a Category Manager, responsible for managing energy and fleet categories. Aziz supported enterprise-wide spend and implemented sourcing strategies, resulting in annual savings. Since March 2012, Aziz has been working at Novelis as the Director of Global Sourcing, leading strategic and tactical procurement teams. Aziz focuses on managing spend, developing sourcing strategies, and implementing technology-enabled processes to reduce costs and increase efficiencies.

Aziz Tashbulatov earned a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Vermont in 2002. Aziz later pursued an MBA, specializing in Operations and Supply Chain Management, from Kennesaw State University's Michael J. Coles College of Business, completing the degree in 2012. In addition to their formal education, Tashbulatov holds certifications as a Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) and a Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M) from the Institute for Supply Management.
