David Hudson

David Hudson has a diverse work experience in the engineering industry. David started their career at Technologies International as a Project Engineer from 2005 to 2007. David then worked at AK Steel Corporation as a Product Metallurgist from 2007 to 2009. Following that, they joined Whirlpool Corporation and held multiple roles, including Global Steel Analyst and Steel Technical Program Manager, from 2009 to 2012. In 2012, they became the Manager of Quality & Metallurgical Engineering at NLMK Group, leading a team across three mill locations. Currently, David works at Novelis as the Lead Automotive Development Engineer, where they are responsible for the leadership of engineering roadmap and application development across multiple customer-facing automotive account teams. David also focuses on developing network and customer relationships to drive business growth expansion through design solutions and enabling process technologies.

David Hudson attended Michigan State University from 2002 to 2005, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science Engineering with a focus on Metallurgy. In 2005, they also completed a course at Dale Carnegie on Effective Speaking and Human Relations. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Bloomberg BMC and FactSet Core Certification in 2020.
