Ganesh Bhaskaran

Ganesh Bhaskaran, Ph.D., is a seasoned professional currently serving as the Global Automotive Roadmap Leader for Body-in-White (BIW) Strength at Novelis since April 2011. Prior to this role, Ganesh worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Toronto, focusing on the correlation between grain orientation data and sulfide film formation on copper surfaces through electron backscatter diffraction techniques. Ganesh holds a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where studies were completed from 2017 to 2023. Additionally, a Graduate Certificate in the Management of Technology was earned at the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business between 2020 and 2021. Earlier academic accomplishments include a Master of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto (2008-2010) and a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical and Electrochemical Engineering from the Central Electrochemical Research Institute (2004-2008).
