H. R. Shashikant

H. R. Shashikant began their work experience in 1986 as a Plant Personnel Manager at Brooke Bond India. H. R. then moved on to Rhone-Poulenc Rorer as a Plant Personnel Manager before joining Castrol as an HRD Manager. In 1996, they became the Head of HR for India at Les Laboratories Servier. Shashikant then joined Aditya Birla Group in 1999 as a Vice President and later became the Group Executive President- Group Human Resources. Currently, they are the EVP and Chief Human Resources Officer at Novelis, where they oversee and implements worldwide HR objectives and practices.

H. R. Shashikant completed a Bachelor of Arts in Economics at Karnatak University from 1981 to 1984. Later, from 1984 to 1986, they pursued a Master's degree in PM&IR at Tata Institute of Social Sciences. In 2017, they enrolled at INSEAD and obtained an Executive Masters in Coaching and Consulting for Change with a focus on the use of clinical Psychology, Psycho dynamics, and Psycho analysis in HR. Additionally, H. R. Shashikant has an OD Certification from NTL, USA, although the exact date of its attainment is unknown.
