José Nilton Fonseca has over 25 years of experience in the manufacturing and engineering sectors, currently serving as the E2MRA Director at Novelis since April 1997. José has held various managerial roles, including Sr Manufacturing Manager and Maintenance Manager, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing the Cold and Hot Mill Areas at the Pinda rolling mill, managing maintenance and industrial services, and leading initiatives to enhance safety culture and operational efficiency. Previous experience includes working as a Product Engineer at Iochpe Maxion S/A and as a Mechanical Technician at Alcan. José holds an Executive MBA from Fundação Dom Cabral, an MBA in Project Management from FGV, and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade de Taubaté, along with technical qualifications in mechanics.
