Regina Salazar

Regina Salazar is Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Novelis Inc. In this role, Regina is responsible for the development and execution of the global information technology and business information strategy, as well as digital transformation. She was named to this position in June 2021.

Regina joined Novelis in November 2020 as Deputy Chief Information Officer. Prior to Novelis, she was the Chief Information Officer for the North America region at Whirlpool. Before that, Regina was the vice president of Global Information Systems, where she lead the IT Organization supporting Whirlpool’s Global Strategic Sourcing and Global Product Organization, including the company’s IoT Platform (Connected Appliances).

Before Whirlpool, Regina held positions of increasing responsibility in information systems, manufacturing and aftermarket operations at Delphi Automotive, Goodyear and Meritor Automotive.

Regina holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from UNICAMP – Universidade Estadual de Campinas in São Paulo, Brazil; a masters in science administration from Central Michigan University; and an International Consortia for Executive Development Certificate from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.

Regina is also one of the recipients of the Automotive Hall of Fame Young Leadership Award in recognition of her leadership and contributions to the automotive industry.
