Sierra N. currently serves as the Director of Global Accounting & Controllership at Novelis, a position held since March 2022, responsible for reviewing SEC, IFRS, and IndAS financial statements, managing monthly accounting close across multiple ERP systems, and overseeing ESG disclosure reporting while collaborating with various internal stakeholders. Prior to Novelis, Sierra worked at Southern Power as the Accounting Research Lead, focused on accounting due diligence for acquisitions, implementing new accounting standards, and managing a team of accountants. Earlier experience includes roles at Aaron's, Inc., where Sierra advanced from Manager of Technical Accounting to Senior Manager of SEC Reporting, overseeing the SEC reporting process and complex accounting analyses. Sierra's career began at Ernst & Young as an Audit Manager, where responsibilities included financial statement review and audit engagement management. Sierra holds a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Clark Atlanta University, and has participated in graduate and undergraduate study abroad programs in Beijing and Brussels.
