Xiaolei Xu

Xiaolei Xu is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategy and sustainability, currently serving as Sr. Manager for Strategy and Sustainability at Novelis Asia since December 2015. Key responsibilities include leading the implementation of a new operating model in China, facilitating business expansion projects valued at over $550 million, and driving product innovation while supporting sustainability initiatives. Previously, Xiaolei held roles in product management and business development at Novelis, as well as analyst positions at Metal Bulletin Research and CBI (China) Co., Ltd. Xiaolei holds an Executive MBA from China Europe International Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Land Resource and Real Estate from Renmin University of China.
