Zach Buran

Zach Buran is a skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in simulation and optimization. Currently serving as a Simulation Engineer at Novelis since August 2024, Zach focuses on delivering data science solutions for various challenges. Previously, as a Senior Engineer at Automation Intelligence, Zach led the development of rapid prototypes and digital twins, along with creating proprietary catalogs of Emulate3D objects. Earlier roles include Design Engineer II and I at The Haskell Company, where Zach mastered several simulation software packages and developed analytical tools for 3D warehouse simulations. Additionally, experience as a Performance Engineer at DHL eCommerce included optimizing delivery routes to enhance operational efficiencies. Zach commenced an MBA program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in December 2023, following an undergraduate degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
