Jonathan Putney

Jonathan Putney has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Jonathan began their career at Noverant as a Software Developer and Customer Support Technician in 2008. In this role, they provided technical support to customers and developed software solutions.

Jonathan then moved to Progress Energy in 2009, where they worked as a Business Technology Analyst. In this position, Jonathan coordinated system testing for the company's merger and provided support for HR software applications such as PeopleSoft and Kenexa 2x BrassRing. Jonathan also created complex queries and reports for HR and recruiting data and developed automated reporting dashboards using SharePoint.

Returning to Noverant in 2012, Jonathan held multiple roles including Senior Software Engineer/Architect, Director of Software Engineering, and most recently, they served as the VP of Technology starting in September 2021. Their responsibilities included software development, technical leadership, and overseeing technology initiatives within the company.

Jonathan Putney received their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Grand Valley State University. Following this, they pursued a Master of Engineering Management degree at Duke University. Jonathan also obtained several certifications, including AWS Certified Developer - Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate, and Certified ScrumMaster®.
