Pete Zimek

Pete Zimek has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Pete founded Novi AMS in 2015 and served as the CEO, focusing on amplifying the impact of associations. Prior to that, in 2009, they founded the iLS network, a collective of online apartment guides in Florida. Additionally, Pete was a faculty member of NAAEI from 2013 to 2017, where they taught various courses for apartment associations in Florida. Pete also worked as a Senior Sales & Marketing Executive for the North Central Florida Business Report | INsite Magazine from 2000 to 2013. Furthermore, Pete was a franchisee for Ben & Jerry's from 2006 to 2010. Pete began their career as a Legislative Intern in the United States Senate in 1999 and later worked as an intern for the Naval History and Heritage Command in the same year.

Pete Zimek holds a Master of Science degree in Management from the University of Florida's Warrington College of Business, which they completed from 2001 to 2002. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Florida, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. In terms of additional certifications, Pete Zimek is a Certified Association Executive (CAE), obtained from the American Society of Association Executives in February 2021. Pete is also a QuickBooks Advanced Certified ProAdvisor, certified by Intuit in October 2016. Furthermore, they hold a Certified Apartment Supplier certification from the National Apartment Association, which they obtained in July 2013.
