Tim Summers

Tim Summers has extensive experience in product development and engineering, particularly in the field of data storage solutions. Currently serving as a School Bus Driver for the Novi Community School District since March 2021, Tim previously held significant leadership roles at various organizations, including SVP of Product Development at Alliance Storage Technologies Inc, where responsibilities included evolving NAS-based storage systems and integrating cloud archiving capabilities. Other notable positions include SVP of Product Development and Support at Metalogix Software, where Tim managed product development related to Microsoft SharePoint, and SVP of Worldwide Development and Engineering at Plasmon, focusing on enterprise archiving products. With a career that spans over three decades, Tim has contributed to technology advancements across multiple companies, beginning as a Systems Programming Manager at Mellon Bank and culminating in executive roles in esteemed tech firms. Tim earned a B.S. in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Business from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
