Mireille GUERRIER

Senior Research Assistant at NovImmune

Mireille Guerrier has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of molecular biology and biotechnology. Mireille started their career in 1982 as a Technician in the Clinical Laboratory of Biochemistry and Microbiology at Hospital Chambery in France.

In 1983, they worked as a Technician in the Neuropharmacology Department at Battelle, where they focused on receptor binding, PK/PD modeling, and in vivo pharmacology validation.

Mireille then joined the University and Cantonal Hospital Geneva in 1990, working as a Technician in various departments, including Nuclear Medicine and Mouse Cancer Models.

From 1991 to 1997, Guerrier worked at GlaxoSmithKline, first as a Technician II in the Biochemistry Department and then as a Senior Technician I in the Biochemistry and Genomics Departments. Their responsibilities included sequencing, culturing yeast cells, and in vivo radioactive labeling of yeast lipids.

In 1998, they became a Senior Technician II in the Molecular Biology Department at Serono SA, where they were responsible for a quantitative RT-PCR platform and various molecular biology techniques.

Guerrier joined Merck Serono in 2006, initially as a Senior Technician II in the Monoclonal Antibodies Department, focusing on the discovery and development of therapeutic antibodies. Mireille then transitioned to the role of Research Associate II in the Biomarkers Technologies, supporting research and clinical biomarkers projects.

Mireille joined NovImmune as a Research Assistant in Molecular Biology in 2013 on a temporary mission before taking a permanent position in 2014. In this role, they contributed to library construction, DNA preparation, cellular assays, and hit characterization.

In 2015, Guerrier worked as a Research Assistant in the Genetics & Evolution Department at Geneva University, where they contributed to the characterization of Hydra regeneration mechanisms through techniques such as in situ hybridization and electroporation.

Their most recent position is as a Senior Research Assistant at Light Chain Bioscience | Novimmune SA, which they started in 2016. In this role, they support early drug discovery, contributes to the generation and characterization of antibody libraries, and performs phage selections and screening.

Overall, Mireille Guerrier's work experience demonstrates their expertise in molecular biology, genetics, antibody discovery, and biomarker technologies. Mireille has a strong background in various laboratory techniques and a track record of contributing to scientific research projects.

Mireille Guerrier started their education journey in 1980 at the High School Lamartinière La Duchère LYON in France, where they earned their Scientific High School Diploma in Biology and Biochemistry. Mireille then pursued higher education at the University Claude Bernard LYON 1 from 1981 to 1982, where they obtained a DUT degree in Biology and Biochemistry. Mireille also obtained an Attestation from OFPC (Office de la Formation Professionnelle et Continue), specifically the eduPros Geneva program, on November 30, 2012. This attestation qualifies their as an Apprentice trainer or Formatrice d'apprenti-e.
