Christian Descoteaux

Christian Descoteaux has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Christian is currently serving as a Senior Account Manager at NOVIPRO since September 2021. Previously, they held multiple roles at IBM Canada Ltd, including Software Client Leader for IBM Cloud SW from July 2017 to February 2021. In this role, they were responsible for large Software Sales Contracts and strategies for cross-industry enterprises in the greater Montreal area, helping them grow their business and save costs with AI and cloud technology. Christian also worked as a Business Manager and Software Client Leader at IBM Canada between 2014 and 2017, where they delivered business solutions and helped customers with their digital transformation and cloud strategy. Prior to that, they worked at IBM as an Account Executive, where they managed client relationships, brought in revenue, and had a strong understanding of IBM products and services. Christian also served as a Business Manager for IBM Global Financing, where they delivered the financing strategy for the Quebec market and coached a sales team to grow the financing business. Christian started their career at IBM as a Financial Services Specialist and later became a Server Specialist, responsible for winning back and growing the IBM server and storage business. Throughout their career, Christian has worked with various clients in different industries, including Quebecor, CGI, CAE, and Rio-Tinto Alcan.

Christian Descoteaux earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Commerce from UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal. Additionally, they obtained an IBM Selling Profession Certification - Level I from IBM in June 2019.
