Kim Desrosiers has worked in the software development industry since 2012. Kim began their career as a Developer at Centre de géomatique du Québec, where they worked on research projects involving geomatics and software development, as well as developing web mapping applications. In 2015, Kim moved to VenueParking, where they were the IT Director. Her duties and responsibilities included end-to-end development of software systems, providing input to technology leadership and project management teams, and experimenting with and evaluating new technologies. In 2016, Kim took a position as a Software Developer at Laboratoire PhytoChemia, where they developed and supported an internal application using Python/Django and Vue.js, and managed the CI/CD pipeline. In 2018, Kim joined WikiNet as a Full-stack Developer, where their main tasks included developing an internal application based on Java backend and Angular frontend, developing a microservice architecture mainly in Kotlin, and helping to integrate Kubernetes in the stack. In 2020, Kim moved to Can-Explore as a Full-stack Developer, and in 2021 they joined Novisto in the same role.
Kim Desrosiers attended Cegep de Chicoutimi from 2009 to 2012, where they earned their DEC in Computer Science.
