Markus Larsson has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Markus currently serves as the Founder and CEO of Novity since October 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of General Manager at Novity starting in January 2020.
Before joining Novity, Markus worked at PARC, where they held various leadership roles. From January 2017 to January 2020, they served as the Vice President of Global Business Development, responsible for growing PARC's worldwide business and commercializing its breakthrough technologies. During their tenure, they managed PARC's open innovation business, spin-outs, startups, commercial business development, global marketing, strategy, strategic alliances, direct sales, technology portfolio management, IP licensing, and tech transfer, as well as government business development, contracting, and funding strategy.
From May 2016 to January 2017, Markus was the Vice President of Global Business Operations at PARC. Prior to that, they served as the Global Managing Director of Business Development and Sales from March 2014 to April 2016. In this position, they led a global team of directors focusing on sales, transactions, market development, and partnerships for technology commercialization.
Before their senior leadership roles, Markus worked as a Senior Director of Business Development from August 2012 to March 2014 and as a Director of Business Development from April 2011 to August 2012, both at PARC. Markus was responsible for implementing and expanding PARC's strategic business worldwide and monetizing its technology portfolio.
Additionally, Markus worked at HP in 2007 as an Intellectual Property Licensing Contractor. Markus also held roles at PARC as a Senior Business Analyst from March 2010 to April 2011 and as a Business Analyst from July 2008 to March 2010.
