Jorge Becerril is a seasoned professional in the life sciences and investment sectors, currently serving as a Partner in the Venture Investments/Public Equity Team at Novo Holdings since October 2021. Previously, Jorge held significant roles at Global Blood Therapeutics, where responsibilities included sourcing and negotiating in-licensing and M&A transactions in the orphan disease space, and leading partner selection for the commercialization of Oxbryta. Experience at Portola Pharmaceuticals involved business development in hematology, immunology, oncology, and cardiovascular disease. Jorge's consulting background at L.E.K. Consulting focused on strategy and investment due diligence for life sciences clients.
