Marcus Freiesleben Hjort

Marcus Freiesleben Hjort currently serves as Vice President at Novo Holdings, focusing on capital investments in real assets since December 2024. Prior to this role, Marcus accumulated experience at Hines in the Nordics as both an Acquisition Associate and Acquisition Analyst from June 2020 to December 2024, and previously worked at NREP as an Analyst in Transaction Support and as a Student Assistant in the Finance Group from May 2017 to June 2020. Earlier experience includes serving as Head Soccer Coach at Hellerup Idræts Klub from February 2012 to April 2014. Marcus holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Finance and Accounting from Copenhagen Business School and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics and Business Administration from the same institution. Additional academic experience includes studies at The London School of Economics and Political Science and San Diego State University as an exchange student.
