Nathan Balcom

Nathan Balcom is currently working as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at NOVO Engineering since January 2014. Prior to this, Nathan worked as a Mechanical Development Engineer at the same company. Before joining NOVO Engineering, Nathan worked as a Cartilage Tissue Engineering Researcher at UCSD Cartilage Tissue Engineering Lab from June 2010 to June 2013. Nathan holds an MS in Biomedical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, completed in 2013, and a BS in Biomedical Engineering from the same university, completed in 2012. Nathan's research at UCSD focused on altering the geometric and mechanical properties of articular cartilage for future repair and/or replacement of damaged cartilage.
