Janet Hollingsworth

Janet Hollingsworth is an accomplished director and educator with extensive experience in STEAM education and fabrication. Currently serving as the Director of The Metro Fabrication Center at NoVo Foundation, Janet is in the process of establishing a fabrication center for Kingston, NY, set to open in 2026. Previously, in roles at The Possible Zone, Janet contributed significantly to STEAM programming and educational initiatives, including launching a $1.25 million makerspace in Boston for under-resourced youth. With a diverse background in various educational and leadership positions, including as Creative Technologist for the City of Boulder and Head Designer at R+J Fine Woodworking, Janet has successfully integrated digital fabrication into community and educational settings. Janet holds degrees in Architectural Studies and Civil Engineering from Tufts University, along with a certification in Digital Fabrication & Creative Electronics from Fab Academy.
