Kimberly McLain

Kimberly McLain, MBA, CPA, currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at the NoVo Foundation since 2019, overseeing all financial activities for the private foundation. In addition to this role, Kimberly has been an independent consultant for various nonprofits focused on equity since 2016. Previously, Kimberly held leadership positions as President and CEO of Newark Alliance and the Foundation for Newark's Future, driving initiatives to enhance growth and educational outcomes in Newark. Earlier career experiences include Vice President of Finance and Operations at Newark Charter School Fund, Managing Director at Teach for America, and investment banking roles at Credit Suisse and Wachovia Securities. Kimberly began a professional career at KPMG as a Certified Public Accountant after earning an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS in Accounting from the University of South Carolina.
