Daryl Paul

Daryl Paul is currently serving as a Data Manager - Solutions Architect at the Novo Nordisk Foundation, a position held since November 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Solutions Engineer and Solutions Engineer at Weld from October 2021 to April 2023, and a Backend Developer at HospiceMD, Inc. for a brief period in 2018, focusing on database design in MSSQL and backend systems using the .NET framework in VB. Previously, Daryl was a PhD Candidate at the University of Birmingham from August 2015 to January 2017, engaging in research related to laser cooling of atomic gases and optical atomic clocks, while also teaching and supervising undergraduate students. Daryl’s research experience continued as a Guest Researcher at the National Physical Laboratory, involved in the development of Strontium Lattice Clocks. Daryl earned a Master's degree in Mathematical Modelling and Computation from DTU - Technical University of Denmark from 2018 to 2021, and holds an MSci in Physics from the University of Birmingham attained in 2015.
