Anna Charlotte Schultz is a food microbiologist with over 15 years of experience specializing in food virology and molecular microbiology. Currently serving as a Senior Development Scientist at Novo Nordisk A/S since February 2020, Anna has previously held the position of Senior Researcher at the National Food Institute, Technical University of Denmark, from January 2007 to January 2020. Anna’s expertise includes the development and validation of methods for the detection, quantification, characterization, and persistence of viruses in various biological samples, including food, environmental, and clinical matrices. Additional roles include Microbiologist specializing in foodborne viruses at the Danish Institute of Food and Veterinary Research from January 2000 to December 2006, and a Lab Technician at the University of Copenhagen from 1989 to 1991. Anna holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Food Virology from the University of Copenhagen and a Master of Science in Biotechnology from the Technical University of Denmark.
