Erin Zekas Camire

Erin Zekas Camire has a robust background in biomedical sciences, holding a Ph.D. from the University of New Mexico. Currently serving as a Medical Director at Novo Nordisk since October 2022, Erin has prior experience as a Medical Liaison at HEMA Biologics and as a Medical Science Liaison at PRECISIONscientia. Additional roles include Strategic Account Manager and Associate at Adelphi Research Global, Research Associate at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Research Institute, and Postdoctoral Fellow at IRCM, focusing on neuroinflammatory disease in HIV patients. Early career experience includes research on blood coagulation at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and investigation into estrogen signaling in breast cancer during graduate studies. Erin's educational journey also includes a B.S. in Biology from Temple University and a foundational education at Bishop Hoban High School.
