Giulio Ungaretti

Giulio Ungaretti is a Principal Software Engineer and Product Owner at Novo Nordisk, leading the development of an AI-powered Electronic Lab Notebook for R&ED. As an organizer of the PyData Copenhagen chapter since March 2016, Giulio focuses on fostering an inclusive environment for learning Python and data-related topics. Prior experience includes serving as Lead Engineer at the LEGO Group, where Giulio advanced a data mesh strategy, and at Microsoft, where responsibilities included leading the QCoDeS data acquisition platform development for quantum computing. Additional positions include Co-Founder and CTO at amie, Software and Data Engineer at Tjek, and Research Assistant at the Center for Quantum Devices. Giulio holds a Master's degree in Nanotechnology from the University of Copenhagen and a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering from Università Ca' Foscari di Venezia.
