Irvin Mangwiza

Irvin Mangwiza is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering and project management within the medical device and technology sectors. Currently serving as the Director and Head of US SAMD Development at Novo Nordisk since May 2014, Irvin leads critical areas, including Engineering, Project Management, and Quality Management Systems. Irvin has held various roles at Novo Nordisk, contributing to the development of connected medical devices and digital health technologies, while also overseeing compliance and training initiatives. Additionally, Irvin holds a position as an ISO Standards Expert for devices administering medicinal products, leading standardization efforts for needle injection systems. Previous experience includes leadership roles at DELTA, where Irvin managed innovative projects such as ePatch technology, and various engineering positions in organizations such as Botswana Technology Centre and Inland Revenue NZ. Irvin holds an M.Sc in Electrical Engineering and Physics from the University of Southern Denmark and a B. Eng in Electronics Engineering from the National University of Science and Technology in Zimbabwe.
