Jan-Otto Hooghoudt

Jan-Otto Hooghoudt is a skilled Modelling Specialist and Senior Modelling Scientist at Novo Nordisk since April 2020, focusing on PK-modelling and exposure-response analysis for diabetes and cholesterol medication. Prior to this, Jan-Otto served as a Senior Statistician conducting clinical trial statistical analysis for type-2 diabetes treatments. Academic experience includes roles as an Assistant Professor at Aalborg University, where Jan-Otto contributed to projects related to risk analysis and collaborated on the EU "Mantis" project. Jan-Otto holds a PhD in Mathematical Statistics from Aalborg University and an MSc in Applied Physics from the University of Twente, complemented by early research at the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute and industrial experience at Philips Semiconductors.
