Laurent Barthelemy

Laurent Barthelemy is an experienced mechanical engineer and equipment specialist currently serving as Equipment Responsible at Novo Nordisk since April 2024. Prior to this role, Laurent held the position of Senior Mechanical Engineer at Topsoe from October 2020 to March 2024, where responsibilities included design, maintenance, and development of proprietary equipment and global site supervision. Laurent also worked as a Welding Engineer IWE at Alfa Laval, focusing on welding procedures and quality coordination, and as a Welding Engineer/Inspector at Kiwa Inspecta, performing inspections on welded structures for Maersk Oil. Additional experience includes roles as a Mechanical Engineering Trainee at Schlumberger and as a NDT Inspector Trainee at Applus RTD. Laurent completed a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at SIGMA Clermont and holds a qualification as an International Welding Engineer.
