Loujin Song

LouJin Song is a Senior Scientist II in External Innovation and Drug Discovery at Novo Nordisk since December 2024, following a significant tenure at Pfizer from September 2017 to December 2024, where roles included Principal Scientist, Senior Scientist, and Postdoctoral Fellow. A PhD in Pharmacology was obtained from Columbia University in the City of New York, where research focused on modeling human cardiovascular diseases using induced pluripotent stem cells to explore disease pathogenesis for therapeutic development. Earlier education was completed at Fudan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, involving undergraduate research on inflammatory animal models and testing new therapeutics.
