Luigi Gagliardi

Luigi Gagliardi is a highly experienced professional with extensive expertise in manufacturing IT and automation. Currently serving as CVP and Divisional CIO at Novo Nordisk since January 2012, Luigi leads a global team of around 1000 professionals, focusing on transforming and optimizing the IT/OT/Automation functions for the manufacturing value chain. Previous roles at Novo Nordisk include VP of Product Supply IT and Director of Manufacturing Automation Projects, where Luigi drove significant technological changes and system implementations. Prior to Novo Nordisk, Luigi held various leadership positions at Accenture and Trenitalia, supporting major clients and enhancing operational efficiency. Luigi holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Systems Automation from Università di Pisa, alongside master's degrees in Management of Transportation Systems and Electrical Engineering. Additionally, Luigi is the Chairperson of the Board at the International School of Hellerup, overseeing its operations and academic performance.
