Stuart Moodie

Stuart Moodie is an experienced professional with a diverse background in scientific software development and bioinformatics. Currently serving as the Sample Management Lead at Novo Nordisk since July 2020, Stuart focuses on developing sample management strategies within the Formulation and Delivery department, previously leading a team to implement software for tracking lab samples. Prior to this role, Stuart founded Eight Pillars Ltd, providing consultancy and software development services to the biotech sector, and served on the SBGN Editorial Board, contributing to the development of international standards in biological representation. Notable previous positions include Senior Software Developer at EMBL-EBI, Project Leader at Inpharmatica, and various research roles at the University of Edinburgh, culminating in a Ph.D. in Molecular Recognition from UCL.
