Theis Sonne

Theis Sonne is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Senior Director of Legal, Ethics, Compliance, and Quality at Novo Nordisk since April 2015. In this role, Theis leads the legal and compliance team for the 'BAMEAC' business area, overseeing operations across more than 75 countries and contributing significantly to the company's growth. Previously, Theis worked as Senior Corporate Counsel in Novo Nordisk’s central Latin American affiliate and as Director of Legal for International Operations, managing legal affairs for a vast global workforce. Theis also has experience as an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Copenhagen and has held various legal positions at Gorrissen Federspiel and Pfizer Consumer Health. Theis holds a Master of Laws from the University of Copenhagen and has furthered education at Harvard Law School and Griffith University.
