Douglas Humphreys

Douglas Humphreys has a long and varied work experience. From 1989 to 2004, they worked as a Deputy City Attorney for the San Diego City Attorney's Office. During this time, they were a prosecutor for Domestic Violence and Child Abuse cases, and later became the Head of the Domestic Violence Unit, while also being cross-designated as a San Diego Deputy District Attorney. From 2004 to 2009, they worked with Church Resource Ministries as a Field Staff, helping to release lay people to an awareness of the abundant life they were meant to live in, and working with post-churched youth to re-imagine church. From 2009 to 2016, they served as Lead Pastor of Creekside Covenant Church, and also worked as an English Pastor at San Diego Chinese Bible Church. In 2016, they became the Director of ReWire Seattle at CRM Empowering Leaders.

Douglas Humphreys obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Government from UC Irvine in 1984-1986. Douglas then went on to study Law at the University of the Pacific - McGeorge School of Law, earning a Juris Doctorite in 1985-1989. Finally, they completed a Doctorate of Ministry in Ministry from Bakke Graduate University in 2008-2010.
