Walt East

Walt East, DMin, currently serves as the Church Mobilizer and Resource Strategist for the Activate(D) Team at Novo Mission, a position held since June 2022. Prior experience includes serving as Lead Chaplain at Sky Valley Chapel from October 2011 to February 2023, where responsibility included overall ministry leadership and supervision of staff and volunteers. Walt East has held several notable chaplain roles within the U.S. Navy, including FORCE Chaplain at Commander Naval Surface Forces Atlantic and Command Chaplain on USS WASP (LHD 1). Educational credentials include a Doctor of Ministry in Church Growth/Evangelism from Fuller Theological Seminary and a Master of Divinity in Biblical Studies from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, among others.
