Rodrigo Diez

CEO & Founder at Novo Space

Rodrigo Diez is the CEO and founder of Novo Space. Rodrigo was previously a part-time professor at Universidad Nacional de Río Negro, a research assistant at Universidad Nacional de Río Cuarto, and a senior electrical engineer at Invap S.E.

Diez has experience in designing and testing subsystems, electronic boards, and embedded systems. Rodrigo led a group of five members in the development of the Solid State Recorder and the Control and Digitization Unit on an international aerospace project (Saocom), and a group of six members in the development of the Signal Processor for a 3D radar.

Diez's experience also includes IQ modulator and L-band amplifier development for a SAR payload, AM/PM/PSK/FSK transmitter and receiver development for software-defined radios, on-board computer and high-speed communication module development for a SAR payload, transmitter, receiver, target simulator and digital signal processor development for a 3D radar, and Signals and Synchronisms Generator development for a 3D radar.

Dr. Rodrigo Diez is an Argentine academic who specializes in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering. Rodrigo holds a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as a Master of Science from the same institution. Rodrigo is also a Telecommunications Engineer, having graduated from Universidad Nacional de Río Cuarto with a five-year degree that included a thesis.
