Siba Das, PhD has worked in various roles in the field of biotechnology since 2010. In 2010, they began their career as a Postdoctoral Scholar at Oregon State University, where they developed developmental toxicity of various compounds such as bisphenol A (BPA), perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS), mono-substituted isopropylated triaryl phosphate (mono-ITP), benzo[a]pyrene (B[a]P), and quercetin. Siba also managed and directed a semi-throughput toxicity screening of phyto-estrogenic chemicals and performed lipidomics and free fatty acid analysis using LC-MS. In 2013, they moved to the University of Washington as a Senior Fellow, where they managed projects for toxicity of various compounds. In 2015, they joined the Pacific Northwest Research Institute as a Fellow. In 2017, they were appointed as a Senior Research Scientist at the Biotechnology Institute, University of Minnesota. Most recently, in 2019, they were appointed President & CEO of NovoClade.

Siba Das, PhD completed their Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology at Oregon State University from 2005 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained an MS in Fisheries Science from Central Institute of Fisheries Education between 1999 and 2001. Siba also obtained a BS in Fisheries Science from Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology from 1995 to 1999. Additionally, they hold two certifications from the American Board of Toxicology, Inc.: a DABT obtained in 2021 and a DABT obtained in 2015.
