Jennifer Tieu, CPA, CMA, currently serves as the Manager of Finance Operations at the Lazaridis School of Business & Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University since October 2023. Prior to this role, Jennifer worked as Operations Controller at Septodont from August 2022 to October 2023, where responsibilities included managing the operational finance team, collaborating with site Controllers and Financial Managers on budgeting and forecasting, and designing reporting systems. Jennifer's earlier experience includes significant roles at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada, including Cost Planning Senior Analyst, Fixed Asset & CapEx Specialist, and Cost Management Specialist, where Jennifer led cost estimations, budgeting activities, and variance analysis. Jennifer began professional experience as an Administrative Assistant at Koinonia Christian Fellowship and as a Parts Ordering Specialist at Toyota. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Wilfrid Laurier University and completed the CMA-CPA designation in Management Accounting between 2013 and 2015.
