Roopa Prakash

Roopa Prakash has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Roopa started their career as a Software Engineer at Aricent (formerly Flextronics Software Systems/ Deccanet Designs) in 2003, where they worked on projects related to telecom and gained experience in requirements gathering, software maintenance, coding, testing, and documentation. After their role at Aricent, they worked remotely as a Software QA Tester at Socrata from 2008 to 2013, where they focused on independent software testing for Open data solutions. From 2015 to 2019, Roopa worked as a Software QA Engineer at NovoEd, an online learning platform, where they ensured the quality of the platform and collaborated with QA, engineering, product, and design teams. In 2019, they transitioned to the role of Associate Product Manager at NovoEd, where they successfully delivered high-value features and worked closely with different teams to translate business needs into product requirements. Currently, they hold the position of Product Manager at NovoEd, starting in January 2021.

Roopa Prakash earned their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from B V B College of Engg. & Technology in Hubli, India. In addition to their degree, they hold a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) from the Scrum Alliance, which they obtained in March 2021.
