Bing Liu

Bing Liu has extensive work experience in the biotechnology industry. They began their career as a laboratory technician at Beijing Biotechnology Institute from August 2009 to August 2012. In 2015, Bing Liu joined Novogene as a Senior BD Manager, and later transitioned to Novogene America in 2018. At Novogene America, they held the role of Director of project management and operation in biopharmaceutical services since August 2018. Recently, Bing Liu has also taken on the position of Lab Director at Novogene America starting in November 2021. Throughout their career, Bing Liu has contributed to advancements in Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) and played a key role in defining industry standards and driving the development of the NGS ecosystem.

Bing Liu completed a Bachelor's degree in Science of Chinese pharmacology from Shenyang Pharmaceutical University from 2002 to 2006. Then, from 2006 to 2009, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Marine pharmacology at China Pharmaceutical University. Finally, from 2012 to 2015, Bing Liu obtained a Ph.D. in Basic medical science from Peking Union Medical College.
