Katherine Gleason

Katherine Gleason has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Katherine is currently working as a Project Coordinator at Novogene America since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at NC State University as a Research Assistant & Lab Manager from September 2014 to April 2022. Katherine also worked as a Cytogenetics Technologist at LabCorp from September 2012 to September 2014. Their earlier experience includes roles such as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at Clemson University from August 2010 to May 2012. Katherine also worked as a Field Technician and Undergraduate Research Assistant at Dr. Mark Abney, NCSU from May 2009 to August 2010. Katherine had an internship as a Field Technician Intern at Guppy FIBR project from May 2009 to August 2009. Katherine started their professional journey as an Animal Care Intern at Wolf Hollow Wildlife Rehabilitation Center from June 2008 to August 2008. Additionally, they also gained experience as a Live Reptile & Amphibian Intern at NC Museum of Natural Sciences from June 2007 to August 2007. Katherine's earliest research experience was as a Research Assistant under HHMI RISE Program from June 2006 to August 2006.

Katherine Gleason obtained a Master of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Clemson University, where they studied from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at North Carolina State University from 2006 to 2010, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology with a minor in Genetics. In addition to their formal education, Katherine obtained a certification in Project Management Simplified from LinkedIn in June 2021.
