Daniel Antti Steitz has a diverse work experience in the field of advanced materials and technology. Daniel Antti founded and served as the Chief Executive Officer of novoMOF AG, a technology company specializing in metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) that provide solutions to global problems such as water scarcity and carbon capture. At novoMOF AG, they focused on commercializing MOF-based solutions on an industrial level by producing application-specific MOFs. Prior to this role, they were involved in business creation at novoMOF AG.

Before joining novoMOF AG, Daniel gained research internship experience at Paul Scherrer Institut PSI, where they also conducted their Master's thesis. At PSI, they worked on advanced materials research.

Daniel also completed an internship at Togni Group, ETH Zürich, where they gained valuable experience in the field.

From 2010 to 2014, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemical Engineering at ETH Zürich.

From 2014 to 2016, they continued their education at ETH Zürich and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Chemical and Bioengineering.

In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a certification in Innosuisse Business Growth Advanced Engineering from Venturelab in May 2020.
