Mehrdad Arjmand, Ph.D., has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Mehrdad began their career as a Consulting Engineer at SEISCO, where they gained expertise in industrial HVAC system design. Mehrdad then pursued their academic and research career as a Graduate Researcher at the University of Wisconsin-Madison's MRSEC, focusing on the growth and characterization of advanced compound semiconductor materials. During this time, they also developed a thermodynamics and kinetics model to analyze their behavior. Currently, Dr. Arjmand serves as the Chief of Operations at NovoMoto, leading the development of a lease-to-own solar power business in sub-Saharan Africa. Under their leadership, NovoMoto has grown into a thriving enterprise with over 30 employees and more than $1M in revenue.
