Josephine Roien

Josephine Roien is currently the Senior Department Manager of Live Active Bacteria Assay Development at Novonesis, overseeing a team of 20 employees focused on developing and implementing analytical methods for live bacteria products in food cultures and probiotics. Prior to this role, Josephine served as the Senior Department Manager of QC Development & Projects and Senior Department Manager of Molecular Assays at Chr. Hansen, where responsibilities included the development and optimization of analytical methods for quality control and creating molecular-based tools to support various processes. Josephine's earlier experience includes managing Molecular Assays Customization at AJ Vaccines and working as a student worker at Novozymes. Josephine holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from the Technical University of Denmark.
