Kishore Rane

Kishore Rane is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in microbial development and enzyme production, currently serving as the Director of Microbial Development at Novozymes since November 2000. In this role, Kishore oversees multiple teams focused on product and process development for microbial production, including innovations in fermentation and formulation. Prior positions at Novozymes include Senior Manager for Research and Development, where Kishore successfully established research agreements in the bioenergy ethanol sector, and as a Project Director for enzyme development in biofuel initiatives. Earlier career experiences include roles at Novo Nordisk as a Pilot Plant Scientist, focusing on enzyme recovery processes, and as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Illinois, where Kishore advanced fermentation technologies. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Food Science and Technology from The University of Georgia, as well as a Master's degree from the University of Delaware and a Bachelor's degree from Marathawada Agricultural University.
